Let me recap the story: Natalee was an American 18 year old high-school graduate who came to Aruba with a group of fellow students and chaperones to celebrate her graduation in Aruba. She never showed up for her flight back home. Her mother, Beth Holloway Twitty immediately flew down to the island of Aruba to search for her. So far has been established Natalee got into a car with 3 boys on her last night and that she was drunk and possibly drugged too. One or several of the boys had sex with her. They claim to have left her on the beach alive that night.

A massive search operation was organized to look for Natalee, dead or alive, both on land and in the water. Considerable resources and money were spent on this, both by Aruba citizens, Dutch marines, CIA, Texas Equus search volunteers and Dutch F-16 fighters. They never found a body. The investigation is still ongoing.
